Dr. Deanna Armstrong, DVM, CVA is originally from the Florida Keys, where she enjoyed boating, fishing, and snorkeling. She graduated in 2006 from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. Continuing her education as a true Florida Gator, she then completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 2011.
After graduation Dr. Armstrong moved to Orlando, FL to be near family and friends. She began her career as a veterinarian in small animal general practice, which was soon followed by her passion of emergency veterinary medicine. Dr. Armstrong has a well-rounded background and is excited to integrate conventional veterinary medicine with Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
She has completed her training in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and Acupuncture at the legendary Chi Institute in Central Florida for both small and large animals. She has furthered her education with advanced acupuncture courses and is currently pursuing coursework in food therapy and Chinese herbal therapy healing. Her professional special interests include veterinary acupuncture, emergency medicine/critical care, and feline medicine. Dr. Armstrong founded and opened Furever Family Animal Hospital in 2019 and she is excited to provide elite and compassionate veterinary care to the community.
Dr. Armstrong enjoys reading books, boating, and spending time with her family, pets, and loved ones in her free time.

Devyn graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2021, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Human Services. During this time she also completed her Behavioral Technician Certification . She hopes to go back to school in the future to study Animal Behavior and Wildlife Conservation. After interning at ZooTampa, she was eager to gain new experiences and learn more about animal science; This led her to apply to Furever Family Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Technician. Her passion grew and her love of patients and clients flourished. She is now a hospital manager and is cross-trained in all aspects of Furever Family Animal Hospital. In her spare time, Devyn likes to go hiking and kayaking with her 3 huskies (Fenrir, Freyja, and Fauna) and her pitbull, Sayble. She also enjoyes relaxing at home with her fiance', Lukas, and their 9 cats.
Alexis was born and raised in Central Florida. As a kid, she always had dogs and developed a strong attachment for the human-animal bond, with a special interest in large and giant breed dogs. Alexis was born and raised in Central Florida. As a kid, she always had dogs and developed a strong attachment for the human-animal bond, with a special interest in large and giant breed dogs. Her deep affection for animals is what eventually drew her to the veterinary field. Alexis is a highly motivated and academic student who earned her associate's degree, veterinary assistant certification, and her high school diploma all at the same time! During her veterinary assistant training, Alexis was employed at a local small animal hospital where her skills in the field developed. Alexis joined the Furever Family team in 2020, where her advanced technical skills and surgery training have blossomed. Alexis is currently a student at the University of Central Florida with a double major in Biology and Psychology. Her long term goal is to be a licensed pharmacist and maintain a bridge to the veterinary profession as a relief veterinary technician. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her 2 German shepherds, Loki and Zeta, and relaxing by the pool or beach with a good book.
Kailee was born in Ohio and raised in Michigan. She moved to Florida only a few years ago. Kailee decided at a very young age that she wanted to become a vet and has never changed her mind. To pursue that dream, Kailee is currently enrolled at the University of Central Florida majoring in Biology, and on the pre-vet medicine track. After

After completing her bachelors, she will be going back to her hometown in Michigan to attend Michigan State University to earn her DVM. In her spare time, Kailee likes to watch movies and go to farmer's markets. She also enjoys spending time with her furever pet, Slinky.

In middle school, she took her first pre-veterinary medicine class which sealed her love for the field. Isabel joined the Furever Family team in 2022 as a volunteer and has worked her way up to being a Veterinary Assistant. Isabel is currently working on her Bachelor's degree in Biology, with her ultimate goal to be a Veterinarian. She has a special interest in exotic animals. In her spare time, Isabel enjoys coaching junior league soccer, baby sitting, and volunteering at a private academy for special needs children.
