Dr. Deanna DeVuyst Gentile DVM, CVA is originally from the Florida Keys, where she enjoyed boating, fishing, and snorkeling. She graduated in 2006 from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. She graduated in 2006 from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. Continuing her education as a true Florida Gator, she then completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 2011.
After graduation Dr. Gentile moved to Orlando, FL to be near family and friends. She began her career as a veterinarian in small animal general practice, which was soon followed by her passion of emergency veterinary medicine. Dr. Gentile has a well-rounded background and is excited to integrate conventional veterinary medicine with Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
She has completed her training in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and Acupuncture at the legendary Chi Institute in Central Florida for both small and large animals. She has furthered her education with advanced acupuncture courses and is currently pursuing coursework in food therapy and Chinese herbal therapy healing. Her professional special interests include veterinary acupuncture, emergency medicine/critical care, and feline medicine. Dr. Gentile founded and opened Furever Family Animal Hospital in 2019 and she is excited to provide elite and compassionate veterinary care to the community.
Dr. Gentile enjoys reading books, boating/fishing, camping, and spending time with her family, pets, and loved ones in her free time.

Dr. Sarah Schlichte, DVM was born and raised in south Florida. She moved to central Florida in 2017 to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in business administration from the University of Central Florida (go Knights)! After completing her undergraduate degree, Dr. Schlichte moved to Gainesville, where she attended veterinary school at the University of Florida. Dr. Schlichte most enjoyed courses relating to shelter and emergency medicine. During her second year surgery lab, Dr. Schlichte met her canine companion, Squid, who she permanently adopted.
Dr. Schlichte joined our team at Furever Family in 2026 shortly after graduation. She is excited to grow into her veterinary career in central Florida to serve the community. She loves dermatology and challenging skin cases. In her spare time she enjoys baking, reading, and napping.

Kailee was born in Ohio and raised in Michigan. She moved to Florida only a few years ago. Kailee decided at a very young age that she wanted to become a vet and has never changed her mind. To pursue that dream, Kailee is currently enrolled at the University of Central Florida majoring in Biology, and on the pre-vet medicine track. After

After completing her bachelors, she will be going back to her hometown in Michigan to attend Michigan State University to earn her DVM. In her spare time, Kailee likes to watch movies and go to farmer's markets. She also enjoys spending time with her furever pet, Slinky.

Isabel was born in Albany, NY and raised in Central Florida. As a child, Isabel would often visit family farms, which is where her love for animals started. In middle school, she took her first pre-veterinary medicine class which sealed her love for the field. Isabel joined the Furever Family team in 2022 as a volunteer and has worked her

In middle school, she took her first pre-veterinary medicine class which sealed her love for the field. Isabel joined the Furever Family team in 2022 as a volunteer and has worked her way up to being a Veterinary Assistant. Isabel is currently working on her Bachelor's degree in Biology, with her ultimate goal to be a Veterinarian. She has a special interest in exotic animals. In her spare time, Isabel enjoys coaching junior league soccer, baby sitting, and volunteering at a private academy for special needs children.

Alyssa was born and raised in Central Florida. She grew up helping care for her father’s farm animals and always knew she wanted to work with animals in one way or another. She attended Florida Institute of Animal Arts for Vet Assistance in 2010 and worked in Professional Pet Grooming for three years. She started her Furever Family care

Janise is a central Florida native. She completed her training with Southern Technical for a veterinary technician certification in 2025. She enjoys video games, visiting the gun range, and time with family. She loves spoiling her two schnauzers, Luna and Chester. Janise joined our Furever Family team in 2026 and continues to grow in the veterinary field each day.
